What does AC have to do with Solar?
AC uses more energy than any other item in your home. Older and lower efficiency AC’s will require more solar panels. These panels could cost more than replacing your current AC!
You should never buy a Photo-voltaic Solar System without examining your Air Conditioning system. Depending on your current AC you may reduce your electric bill more with a High Efficiency HVAC system from Direct Energy Florida.
Installing a Photo-voltaic Solar System before addressing your Air Conditioning could lead to an over-sized Solar System and a slower Return on Investment.
High Efficiency Air Conditioners
We install single speed, 2 speed and multispeed air conditioners. We go from a 16 SEER to a 21 SEER. We can improve your air quality all the way to hospital grade.
Depending on the size of your system we can reduce your electric bill from $40 to as
much as $300 in large homes.
Multispeed air conditioners can reduce hot spots in your home and better distribute cool air throughout your home.

Tax Credits & Net Metering
2019 is the last year to get a 30% tax credit. Tax Credits will go to 26% in 2020 and
22% in 2021. In 2022 and going forward tax credits will be 10%.
Net Metering allows you to store electricity on the grid without expensive storage systems. Net Metering will eventually go away. We cannot put a date on when net metering will end but we can tell you when it does there are always disappointed procrastinators.
